An excellent way to learn new skills and to meet other people, we offer a wide range of classes throughout the years for adults and kids of all skill levels. Many classes are open to nonmembers but free or reduced price for members.

Members can use the makerspace for projects, borrow tools from the tool library, take free and discounted classes, and bring one guest at a time.

Tools and Resources

Members (and 1 guest per member) can access a wide range of equipment and materials at the makerspace (some items require training and/or fees). Reservations are recommended by contacting makerspace staff. Non-members are welcome to use the seed library for free at no cost.

3D printed model

3D printing

Members can use our 3D printers to print items as large as 255 × 300 × 605 mm. Bring an .STL file and we'll help you print it using a wide range of colors of PLA or black or white PETG. Pay $0.09 per gram when you start the print and pick up your item when it is done.

CNC machine

Computerized carving of wood and other materials. Training and certification required.

Crafting and Cosplay

Foam cutter, glue guns, Chompsaw, paint, button maker, and more!

Cricut

Cricut Maker 4 with accessories for cutting, engraving, and foiling many materials. Great for making custom stickers and decals. Adhesive vinyl and cardstock are available for purchase.

Laser Engraving & Cutting

For fabric, wood, and other materials. Air filter fee: $10 for the first hour, then $5 per half hour after. Training, certification, or direct assistance is required; reservations recommended. 12x12" Basswood sheets and anodized aluminum business cards available for purchase.

Electronics

Soldering tools, oscilloscopes, power supplies, components, air filters, and more.

Embroidery Machine

Embroider designs into cloth with our Brother SE700. Requires training. Backing material and many colors of thread are available.

Seed Library

Available for everyone at no cost. Bring seeds to share with others and take what you need.

Sewing

Multiple sewing machines are available. We also have a serger/overlock stitcher (requires a training class to use). A variety of fabric and accessories are available for purchase, and we have many paper patterns.

Silkscreening and Heat Transfer

Silkscreen press with multiple screens and heat presses for applying permanent designs to shirts, bags, hats, mugs and more.

Tool Library

We have more than 500 tools, books, and other items that members can borrow for 2 weeks at no additional charge. Items may be renewed once. Late fees accrue at $1/item/day.

Woodworking

Safety training and certification required. Equipment includes bandsaw, scroll saw, drill press, and sander.
